Fellow TEXAN Clay Cooper not only represents Texas well, but he has really got this Branson “thang” goin’ on! The interaction with his audience is a comedy routine all on its own. His attention to their comments and responses is a tribute to his listening skills and shows great respect and appreciation for his audience. He actually remembers their names and what they said and will refer to them well into the show. Tear-jerking comedy. What fun!
Needless to say, I was impressed he still sings great Country music with a twang and a drawl. Can’t take the Texan out of the boy! The entire variety show is full of great moments and is very professionally done. The Clay Cooper show at the Clay Cooper Theatre is worth at least two visits each time you come to Branson.
