In one of the more beautiful theatres in Branson, BransonRadio.com enjoyed the music of one of the most soulful, passionate voices in country music. Such a great voice that Collin Raye was 10-times nominated for male vocalist of the year and had 24 Top10 records and 16 #1 hits. He still continues to deliver those heartfelt, sincere songs and as one of the true hit makers of the 1990’s his emotional songs have often been used for weddings, anniversaries and even memorial services. A wonderful tribute to his friend, Glen Campbell, a musical legend suffering from Alzheimer’s, along with Collin’s greatest hits and the hilarious comedy of Chip Lowell makes this a show you do not want to miss in Branson.

The beautiful Moon River Theatre, which Andy Williams personally designed and helped create, opened its doors on May 1, 1992. Andy Williams was the first non-country performer to open a theatre in Branson. Being a master entertainer with a fiercely popular variety show on television, Andy Williams drew from his circle of talented friends to provide top-notch entertainment in Branson.

One of those groups appearing on his T.V. variety show was the Osmond Brothers. As the youngest of the family of entertainers, Jimmy Osmond made his first television appearance on the “Andy Williams Show” at only three years old. And today, in a full-circle kind of fashion, Jimmy Osmond owns the magnificent Andy Williams Moon River Theatre. Jimmy’s multitude of interests and experience stemmed from the vast opportunities available thru the Osmond family’s enterprises. On-the-job-training at its very best! Through the years, Jimmy Osmond founded his own advertising agency, winning various advertising awards including the ADDY; arranged endorsements and sponsorships for huge world tours such as Michael Jackson and Bon Jovi; acquired a theatre in Branson – the Osmond Family Theatre; produced shows there and Christmas Specials at Andy’s Moon River Theatre.

Upon the passing of Andy Williams, Jimmy Osmond purchased the Moon River Theatre and produces a whole roster of family-style concerts and entertainment. His roster of shows planned for 2015 include “The Andy Williams Christmas Show” starring the Osmond Brothers and the Lennon Sisters, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Rick Springfield, B.J. Thomas, John Conley, Ronnie Milsap, Moe Bandy, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Charley Pride, Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits, Rick Thomas, Terry Fator, Crystal Gayle, Collin Raye and many others.

Add this theatre to your “must see” list and experience not only the great shows such as Collin Raye, but a trip down memory lane and into American television history. Since his passing, the theatre has added performance pictures from Andy’s personal collection to the auditorium walls. An amazing tribute-an amazing theatre!
